The Project Management System was developed to meet requirements of small and medium printing companies. It allows management of individual contracts. The requirement was to create an application, which would enable registration of customers and contracts, track and record time spent on an individual contract, and organize printing tasks within a special planning calendar. The application consists of the following modules: customer, project, time tracking, equipment and planning calendar.
We used PHP and MySQL in the service tier. The presentation layer is implemented with XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The application has been successfully deployed in some printing companies. We continue to add more and more features to the application requested by our customers.
